					<description>We have been a long time customer of dish. Whenever an innovation has been released by dish, only new customer's get it with their new installation whereas old customer's have to pay a hefty price.
After getting a new HD TV, this also remained true when requesting a new HD DVR. We decided to cancel dish and look at other options, perhaps coming back as a new customer in the future. I notified them of the date being the last date I already paid for in the month and I would not pay for the next month. They cancelled service the day before leaving without honoring their contract thru the time specified, and after losing a previous day of service because of poor satellite service during the paid period.  Also know when you cancel the contract, they want their boxes and remotes back understandably, but they also want us to climb onto the roof to remove the satellite eye or be charged $100 for their technician to do it, reagardless of what the age and health of the customer is.   
We are going to the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas and
believe me, I will not be talking well about this company or their service.</description>

I have had 5 replacement 508 receivers now
and still have problems!
so said since I'm such a good customer(9+ years) that they could send me for free a 510.  Ok cool. go ahead. 
Well to do this you'll have to agree to another 18 month service contract or be billed $240 for the receiver.
WHAT!   because your sending me junk I have to agree to a longer contract!  No way.
So they're sending me another 508(what I have now)  and in a week or two it will die and they'll send me another one.  (they're paying the $24 shipping) so I guess I can play they're game.   I'm not loosing any money.  But they are going to loose me as a customer.  I don't need this type of apprication as a most valued customer.</description>
