Thank you for viewing my extended resumé. I've written several technical tutorials, how-to's, and articles. Those, along with some examples of my work can be found to the right.
I have been developing web applications for the last 6 years. I have a very wide range of experience, including server-side languages such as Java, client-side platforms such as AJAX, and database systems like Orace and mySQL. I also have significant business and finance experience, inculding working at a venture fund and running my own company. I am constantly reading up on new technologies and trying to improve my skills and increase the value I add in any position.

I created internal applications using ASP. I also have helped architect Java applications, train others on J2EE development tools (Eclipse, JSF, Hibernate, Spring), and setup issue tracking systems and policies that greatly improved our project management.

I developed medical software using PHP. I assisted in moving our database from mySQL to Oracle, and my tasks included: creating new database layer functions, managing triggers and sequences, and optimizing data structures and queries to improve application performance.

I spun off a tracking portion of my company, and found a small investment in 2003 to form NetAnalytix. The company was sold in 2004, and we didn't make much money, but it was a very big learning experience.
University Venture Fund | June 2003 - January 2004 | Associate
I spent about 6 months doing an unpaid internship with a venture fund that is affiliated with the University of Utah. We learned about venture financing, running business, and got to interact with a lot of successful business owners in Utah. We also worked with other venture capital firms such as Wasatch Venture Fund, vSpring, Thomas Weisel Venture Partners, and many others.
